Yellow for Freedom

Today is the 40th death day of Former President Corazon C. Aquino the “Mother of Philippine Democracy”. To commemorate the day I chose to post this flower because of its bright yellow color that symbolizes freedom and unity.

Yellow was the color used during the 1986 EDSA People Power uprising that brought down Former President Ferdinand Marcos 20-year dictatorship.

And it so happen that I’m attracted to Yellow. My wedding motif was also yellow and I owned several yellow shirts. LOL

Ooopss sorry I do not know the name of this flower yet… I’ll research first and post again soon....
