Bromeliads

The Bromeliaceae or commonly known as bromeliads are one of new plant species that had emerged that belongs on families epiphytes and terrestrial (the pineapples).

My 9th mellow yellow monday is one of the vast species of bromeliads and my 4th for Macro Monday.

Took this photo at SM Cebu City.

Enjoy!

  5. Your photo is delicious: So warm and mellow. Exactly what we need. It's in the 30s here in NJ. Spring and summer a distant memory.

  14. They are rather lovely, aren't they? I have no success with them, I'm afraid, and I'm impressed that you managed to get detail in that yellow! Often it's difficult when it's together with a darker colour.
