Yellow Cosmos Flower

It's the last Sunday of the year today. And as a parting gift for 2009 I have a yellow cosmos flower that I have photographed near Maria Cristina Falls, Iligan City.

Cosmos are herbaceous perennial plants that grows up to 2 meter tall. It has leaves that are feather-like or pinnate arranged in opposite pairs with flowers are produced in a capitulum or inflorescence with a ring of broad ray florets and a center of disc florets.

I played with curves on photoshop to achieve a crisp edge.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS!
