Pink Euphorbia

It’s the second Sunday of 2010, time for Today’s Flower. My entry for TF today is a genus of plants belonging to the family Euphorbiaceae.

Euphorbia is one of the 2160 species of Euphorbiaceae, a diverse genera in a plant kingdom and is sometimes referred to as Spurges. It is a woody shrubs, an annual or perennial herbs with a caustic, poisonous milky sap. Like all members of the family Euphorbiaceae, all spurges have unisexual flowers.

Read more about the plant at wikipedia.

This euphorbia plant was taken at my hubby's parents garden.

  9. Am wondering Jan, since this specie has a caustic sap, I wonder if the sap can help remove warts?
