Sunset on New Year's Day

No gloomy sky on New Years Day at Cabangalasan, Bukidnon except for some stratus and cumulus clouds partially covering the mighty sun. At around 4:30PM I positioned my tripod on an ideal spot and waited for the "New Year's Day Sunset", the ideal spot for me was on a rice field in front of my in-law's house.

I took countless shots (I wasn't able to review all the shots yet), I took each position in different exposure so that I can experiment later on about HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging that I have read in a photography magazine (oh.. later, crap I hope I have more time..lol).

Meanwhile, I'll share to you this shot taken @ 5:45PM, while the sun hid himself in a huge cumulus clouds.

My First Sky Watch for 2010. Happy Sky Watch Friday!
