Sunset and Foreground

Last Saturday Joven and I went on a sunset hunting. After a short photo shoot at the pier (thanks to the police for letting us in even for a few minutes) we went directly to Centennial park maybe we can catch up a beautiful sunset there since it was so cloudy at the pier. Luck is on our side, because we were able to witness the beautiful setting of the mighty sun.

This is one of the photos I got. I asked my friend to be the foreground.

What is a foreground? Foreground is a part of the image closer than the main subject. It is used to enhance the image.

Foreground can play a powerful role in an image it can greatly contribute emotion to the image, besides that’s what photography is all about “communicating an emotion”. However, when used improperly foregrounds can end up nothing but a distraction in the image.

In my photo above do you think using my friend as a foreground was a good idea? I do hope I was able to add emotions in the image not the other way around.

Comments are all welcome.. Have A Nice Day.

This is also my World on Tuesday a sunset along the Iligan’s Centennial Park.
