Dahilayan Adventure Park

Two weeks ago five of us went to experience a once in a lifetime adventure at Dahilayan in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The place known to house the longest Zipline in Asia, measuring 840m in length.

Our journey started as early as Saturday dawn, since we don't want to arrived there late because it was a weekend and expected to have so many riders/people at the park. We left Iligan City at 3:30AM had our breakfast at Mcdonalds in Cagayan de Oro City, took-out 1 bucket of chicken joy at Jollibee and off we proceeded to Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.Arrived at Dahilayan Adventure Park via Camp Philips around 7:30AM and we're already group # 3, there are 2 groups ahead of us. And good thing because the next group arrived 10 minutes later has a total of 72 persons. Imagine if they we're ahead of us we would have waited for so so long before we had our turn.

At 9:00AM the park had finally opened, the 2 groups had their turn first and then us. We ridden the first short Ziplines first, measuring 320m & 150m. First pair Jessie and Bonbon, second pair Nice and I and the last one Joven. After the first two rides, the park personnel took us to the launch area of the longest Zipline, measuring 840m and we've landed at the main park area.

These are some of the photos we had.

Litratong Pinoy: Nakatali (Tied)

Badminton.

Badminton. This is my favorite sports. Whenever I'm inside a badminton court I always see to it that I play to the best of my ability and body condition. But these days I'm saying goodbye to my favorite sports and hopefully to get back on the court by next year because it is prohibited for pregnant woman like me to indulge in sports.

So today, I'm sharing to you the most important tool in badminton, the badminton raket. Of course how can you play badminton without it. A badminton raket has a string tied on it's frame, with different tension according to your preference.
That's it!  Happy LP!

The Sea Awaits the River

All rivers, even the most dazzling, those that catch the sun in their course, all rivers go down to the ocean and drown. And life awaits man as the sea awaits the river.

Weed Flowers

Ooopps! I wasn't able to visit my blog for more than 2 days now, because I was so stressed out last week. My head ached so much yesterday too that I had to sleep early. I've been really busy and I do hope this week will be a little spacious for me, hopefully.

Today I attended a meeting with my boss and thank goodness it has finished early, and did gave me a little time to post for Macro Monday, Mellow Yellow Monday and Today's Flower.

So guys here's my star for the day...

This is a bunch of tiny flowers from a certain weed that grows in front of our apartment. You will never appreciate it unless you'll take a closer look.

 this is the original subject.

and this is how the flowers look like closely.

Rabbit Clouds

Aloha everyone! I'm back from a 3-day out of town travel, that means back to my regular work routine and since it's a Friday more reports awaits me. I just finished my two reports and taking my break to post something for SkyWatch Friday.

I broke my promise today. I was supposed to tell you about my weekend getaway and adventure but I forgot to bring with me my external hard disk, my last week's photos we're stored there. I think I'll do the story tonight at home.

Meanwhile, I selected a cute photo to be shared to you today. Just look at the clouds isn't it cute? It looks like a little playful rabbit. This photo was taken by my friend Joven, using my canon EOS camera.

Have a Happy Friday!

Litratong Pinoy: Salita (Words)

Ang pahayagang ito isang gamit na puno ng salita puno, ng mga balita na minsan hindi natin masasabi kung totoo o hindi.

This newspaper is a thing that is full of words and news that sometimes we cannot determine if what is written are true or not.

Ito po ang lahok ko sa araw na ito para sa Litratong Pinoy.

Iligan City: Tinago Falls

Derived from the Filipino word "Tinago" that means "hidden", Tinago Falls a 250 feet cascading waterfalls is my Watery & Outdoor Wednesday share for today.

Tinago Falls is another popular attraction in Iligan City, a city known to be the "City of Waterfalls" in the Philippines. Why "Tinago" because  this awesome creation of God is indeed hidden inside a deep narrow abyss surrounded by tall trees and lush environment.

To reach Tinago Falls, one must be physically fit because you have to descend a more or less 500 steps winding staircase. But when you reach the spot, seeing its natural beauty and dipping yourself in its natural pool, your effort will definitely  pays off.

When you visit Iligan City, find time to visit Tinago Falls too.

Happy Wednesday!

Macro Bud & Flower

Hello everyone it's another Monday and another start of working week. And before anything else, I want to share to you my Macro challenge this week and a mellow yellow share for this very lovely morning.

This is a little flower less than 1 centimeter in size that I have picked in front of our office, I was curious how it look closely. I picked one branch and headed home that day and did my experiment at home using my hubby's DIY macro set-up. And these are the results.

earlier stage as a bud

started blooming into a a pretty little flower.

Too bad I wasn't able to wait for it to fully bloom. Maybe next time I'll shoot another one that is full bloomed.

Happy Monday Everyone!
