Weekday Photos: Macro # 5

I came across another interesting site that host and sponsors weekday photos, and he has this weekly winner too. Isn't it lovely? I guess I should try hanging out in this site and who knows my photos will be winners soon.

As my first entry, I'm submitting before the day closes for Weekday Photos featuring Macro. So here's my share.

In the Pines

Because of the cool weather in Bukidnon Mountains, Pine Trees are still quite abundant. Like this Pine Tree Park that we have visited in Dahilayan Bukidnon. The wind is amazingly cool below the trees and the atmosphere is simply relaxing.

And this is the up close and personal meet-up with the double tree trunk pine tree standing majestically.

To My Blog Friends

Hello everyone! It's another Monday, another first day of work for the week. Today my share to you is a lovely yellow pompy flower that I photographed along Mandulog River. This flower, I believed has blossomed from weeds growing near the riverbank that stands so vibrantly against the streaming water.

To My Blog Friends that I had missed from my long blog vacation this is for you.

May God grant you always…A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.

Back from Blog Vacation

Woooh! It's been awhile, I had a long blog vacation, almost 3-weeks I supposed. Things just got busy everyday and I slacked most of the days too. I did nothing but work and facebook stuff. I slept early most of the time if not I watched previous seasons of "Survivor" that I have downloaded. I completely ignored my blog for almost 3-weeks because of laziness. I guess it's time for me to comeback and be visible again in the blog arena. So here I am, doing my first post after the vacation.

I have here a divine sunset that I took before and wasn't able to post it until today. I took this on one of our sunset hunt at Ma. Cristina Gardens in Iligan City.

Enjoy and have a nice day!

Patriotic Rainbow Sky

On our way home from Cagayan de Oro City last Sunday afternoon, we stopped by at Opol, Misamis Oriental to take some snaps of the long stretch low tide beach. Before getting back in the car, I looked up the sky (opposite direction) and looked what I've seen, a double rainbow sky. A picture perfect along with our very own Philippine flags, waving freely with the wind.

Tower & Ricefield

While clicking and clicking folders on my hard drive I came across a set of photos I've took last year. I remembered I took this while having a long drive from Zamboanga City to Iligan City, my friend was kinda furious because I always asked him to pull-over so that I can take pictures, lol.

This is a 138 kilo-volts power transmission tower connecting Aurora and Sta Clara Substations, our main transmission lines carrying electricity to distribution utilities and down to our home. The tower stands in a a vast rice field just along the Zamboanga del Sur Highway.

This is my Watery Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday entry for today.

Happy Wednesday!
