Falls Falls Falls

Life is a series of steps. Things are done gradually. Once in a while there is a giant step, but most of the time we are taking small, seemingly insignificant steps on the stairway of life.

Bright Morning Sky

I'm on driving holiday for 5 days already. Hubby had a 2-week seminar at the regional office so that means we are going on the same direction and that means he will be driving for 2 weeks too. This morning I had a chance to photograph the bright blue sky while on our way to the office. The scene was taken along the highway of the formerly known National Steel Corporation.

Remembering Home

While digging my archive, I found this photo that I took at the back of your house in Zamboanga City my hometown. I was a new DSLR user that time and had to do experiments with the setting. I thought the scene will look dramatic if I'll convert it to sepia. I hope I did it right.

I miss this seen, it's been a year since I left my hometown again.

Bamboo Rafting

Two men went to the mountains to gather bamboo and deliver it at the market and their means of transportation was a raft also made of bamboo to navigate the river. My first time to see such an activity, and it is amazing to know that it still exist in this modern world.

Mr. Bee Visits Ms. Pretty

When the flower blooms, the bees come uninvited.

Luckily I brought my camera last Friday, tried to capture some interesting perspective for flowers. I got some quite good, but most are blurred because I was using the manual focus I can't seem to get it right. Damned my kit lens broke down and can't do auto focus anymore.

Anyway this photo was taken using a sigma 70-300mm lens. Mr. Bee doesn't want to stay long in one pretty flower.

Rhythms of Nature

In a broader sense, the rhythms of nature, large and small - the sounds of wind and water, the sounds of birds and insects - must inevitably find their analogues in music.

Over the Great Sea

Pleasant it is, when over a great sea the winds trouble the waters, to gaze from shore upon another's great tribulation; not because any man's troubles are a delectable joy, but because to perceive you are free of them yourself is pleasant.
~Lucretius~
