 Marahil kayo ay nagtataka kung bakit puro ulap ang aking handog samantalang salamin ang paksa ng Litratong Pinoy ngayon. 

Ito ang napili ko na ibahagi sa inyo mga kaibigan dahil ang litratong ito ay kinuha ko habang ako ay nasa loob ng eroplano. Nakikita nyo ba ang mga maliit na dumi nakakalat sa litrato? Yan ay ang mga dumi at alikabok na nasa bintana na salamin ng eroplano.

You may wonder why I chose to share this photo that shows clouds and sky were in fact our theme for today's Filipino Photos is about Mirror or Glass. 

I chose this photo because I took it inside an aircraft. See that scattered dots in the picture? Those are dirt and dust on the airplane's glass window.

Wishbone Flower

I have shared before a tiny violet flower that I do not know the name yet. And later found out that it's called Torenia or Wishbone Flower. Thanks to Digital Flower Pictures for leaving a comment and telling me the flower's name. 

Today I'm sharing to you another shade of Wishbone Flower, this time it's a white, light pink and still has a yellow shade at the center. 

Here's some information about Torenia from Better Homes and Gardens.

Try this enchanting little wishbone flower, also dubbed clown flower for its vividly marked flowers that are said to resemble the face of a clown. It's a wonderful, relatively new choice for shade. The flower shape resembles tiny snapdragons, mouths wide open and showing off delicate throats marked with a contrasting color.

Torenia grows easily from seed sown indoors in pots or outdoors in the ground. This little clown flower blooms nonstop until frost.

This is my first time in Macro Friday. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this wonderful meme. Why? because I love macro photography, I love to explore and look into the details of every subject that interest me, especially tiny flowers and hopefully insects too.

My first time to look into the details of a lantana flower before it bloom in a full grown multi-color flower. I had photographed a full bloom lantana before, you can check it out here.

Can You See Me?

Hubby & I did some macro-photography experiments yesterday, I picked branches with flowers in the neighborhood and had a closer shots of the plant/flower details. I stripped off some of the leaves to shoot different perspective and look what I've found, a little  insect hidden between the leaves. 

This unidentified insect camouflaged himself with the environment. What is camouflage? 

Camouflage is a kind of animal behavior used to protect themselves. It helps animals hide and avoid danger by blending in with the environment.In the battle for survival ,camouflage works for both sides. Prey animals use it to hide and avoid being eaten while predators use it to keep from being seen while hunting for preys until it's too late.

Thanks little one, I was so lucky I've found you and became my first macro insect.

That's a what I thought when I saw it, I looked closer, then touched it but it didn't fly because this tiny looking living thing is actually a flower.

Tagal ko nawala at hindi nakasali dito sa Litratong Pinoy. Nakaka-miss ang mga magagandang larawan na nakikita tuwing Huwebes. Sa araw na ito sinubukan kong sumali ulit at sana makakasali pa rin sa mga susunod na Huwebes.

It's been a while that I wasn't able to join Litratong Pinoy (Filipino Photos). I miss all the beautiful photos featured here every Thursday. Today I'm joining again and hopefully will be able to join the next Thursdays to come.

Corpus Christi Church in B&W

It's nice to be back in weekend black and white, the last time I remember was posting for weekly monochrome I believe this is the same meme, hope I'm right. I really missed posting photos in black and white. Now I'm back I hope I can continue doing this in weekends to come.

This is Corpus Christi Parish Church in Iligan City Philippines. This is where I got married in 2008 and just last Saturday my son was baptized in this church also.
