Hubby & I did some macro-photography experiments yesterday, I picked branches with flowers in the neighborhood and had a closer shots of the plant/flower details. I stripped off some of the leaves to shoot different perspective and look what I've found, a little insect hidden between the leaves.
This unidentified insect camouflaged himself with the environment. What is camouflage?
Camouflage is a kind of animal behavior used to protect themselves. It helps animals hide and avoid danger by blending in with the environment. In the battle for survival ,camouflage works for both sides. Prey animals use it to hide and avoid being eaten while predators use it to keep from being seen while hunting for preys until it's too late.
Thanks little one, I was so lucky I've found you and became my first macro insect.
