White Hibiscus

While roaming around at my SIL's house looking for anything to snap my camera at I found this pretty common white gumamela or hibiscus flower. Though this flower can be seen anywhere here in our country but still it is refreshing to look and point my lens at her.

Purple Cattleya

Saw this flowering orchid named Cattleya inside our landlord's fenced front yard. I can't go near her to snap her pretty face closer, hence I used a 70-300mm sigma lens to photograph her.

She's still pretty though her edges has started to wither.

Looking up the sky under a huge tower is an unusual opportunity, by being under it is a privilege because these structures are restricted.

Peeking Sunset

Took this photo yesterday. One great timing, I had a driver (hubby) and my camera. I asked him to pull over and took this sunset peeking behind the clouds scene.

Isla

I was able to post my Hulagway sa Kinabuhi (Pictures of Life) entry for my baby blog 36 Weeks After last night, but I was so sleepy and wasn't able to continue posting here. So instead, I'll do my letter "I" share this morning.

This time it's I for isla or island.

The photo below is one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines. Took this while on board a flight from Cebu to Caticlan in 2008. These island could be somewhere near Aklan but I could not identify it. I do the the research later.
