Pretty Lilium

I believe this flower belongs to the family of Lilium a flowering plants growing from perennial bulbs. Took this near a friend's house. So lovely against a bed of yellow flowers.

Happiness

Happiness. I always have it every time I look at beautiful flowers and more joy when I got a chance to photograph her.

My first entry for...

The flower featured today is a white denrobium, from the genus of orchids that I have photographed at my officemate's front yard last Saturday. I purposely brought my camera with me because I know that they have a lot of different blooms at their home. And these white orchid is one of them.

Autumn Like

Walking on the path way while leaves falling over you is like living in an enchanting world.

Photo taken near our office building on an autumn like afternoon while the leaves of the "balete" tree had shed off from it's branches. It's like having an autumn in a tropical country.

Plumeria Look Alike

This white flower looks like a plumeria or kalachuchi in the Philippines but I think it's not. As far as I know kalachuchis are ornamental trees but this one looks like a shrub.

But anyway whatever her name is, she's pretty and pure. Let's compare her in 3 different settings.

Kamias Flower

Have you seen an Averrhoa bilimbi flower up close?

I was able to take some snaps of averrhoa balimbi flower or locally known as "Kamias" in the Philippines in one of our macro shoots using extension tubes. Here's how she looks so closely...

Pretty isn't it. Luckily Jessie was able to picked her up at at our neighbor's frontyard.

Pink Heliconia

This pink plastic-like flower bloomed from a banana-like plant usually abundant in tropical countries and it's called heliconia.

Wonderful Day

Reservior

Reservior is an artificial or man-made lake that is used to store water, can either be for community water supplies, irrigations or used to generate electricity. Just like the picture below this is one of the dams along the Agus River specifically the reservoir for Agus 6 Hydro Electric Plant in Iligan City.
