These two photos were taken at my best friend's since high school home at Cabuyao, Laguna using only my Sony DSC-W310 point and shoot camera.

Now I really missed my DSLR, hope to get it soon..

Watery Wednesday

Perspective

I had no picture taken lately because I sent my DSLR to the service center for repair and hope to get it back after 3 weeks with that, I have no choice but to search in my archive again for photos taken before. And this is what I found this time...

Autumn Like

In the Philippines we only have two seasons, the dry and the rainy season unlike in other countries that have four temperature seasons. At this time of the year other countries experience Autumn (Fall), it is the season that marks the season transition from summer to winter.

Here in our place there is also an autumn like season I supposed, because near our office the leaves of the huge banyan tree or locally known as the balete tree had fallen from its branches.The scene is really an autumn like, maybe a foreign "not like us beings" live inside the tree. lol..

Poinsettias

Saw a lot of poinsettias below the big Christmas Trees in the World Bazaar 2011 at the Manila World Trade Center on Sunday.

The photos here are kind of overexposed because I was only using my point and shoot camera. But anyhow, they still look good and did shows the spirit of Christmas.

Reservior Spillway

On board a moving vehicle while passing along the Agus 6 HEP Reservoir on our way to NPC guest house for our scheduled meeting with the Mindanao Generation personnel, I was able to capture this structure using only my mobile phone. The sky so blue with scattered clouds made this scene just perfect and serene.

This man made dam is intended for electric generation in Mindanao.

Red Zinnia

My DSLR had given up on me and he's now due for an operation at the service center. I'm just waiting for my friend to bring it to Canon Service Center in Davao City. I hope it will be fine after the repair, I do hope it's still repairable.

For now and for the days to come I'll be posting photos taken before by my beloved DSLR, until such time he's okay and I can take new shots using it.

This is a red Zinnia, taken at my elder brother's front yard. I love the striking color.

Watery Leaves

Oh Yeah! It rained so hard while ago and with just few minutes of pouring it stopped. That means, I can go out and take some snaps of watery leaves and flowers. Here's what I've found today...


A drenched colorful leaf of Croton plant or locally known as the "San Francisco" plant. This leafy plant is a very popular decorative plant in the neighborhood.
