Dessert Rose Up Close

A very common plant in the neighborhood with a striking dark pink to red color flowers, evergreen leaves and succulent stem is called "the dessert rose", also called kalachuchi by others. This houseplant is indeed very attractive especially during summer where the flowers are abundantly blooming.

Just like the picture above that I have photographed at my brother's house. One of my mom's cultivated dessert rose.
