My Precious Little One

I wrote this poem today, seven days after I lost my second child. This is what a grieving mother has to say, to her stillborn baby girl.

 

My precious little one

I had you with me for 32 weeks,

my 32 blissful weeks.

My nights and days were full of joys and excitements

eagerly waiting for the day

the day I’ll be able to hold you in my arms.

But suddenly, I lost you.

I never thought that God choose you to become his angel

before you’re even been born,

an angel that will forever look after us…

My blissful nights had turned into gloom

Full of sadness and grief

My anticipation of hearing your cries and laughter

all had disappeared.

"I LOVE YOU" is all I can say to you...

I may not have you physically

But FOREVER you are in my heart.

And you will always be my precious little girl.
