This scene was taken at Greenhills Memorial Garden in CDO, one early morning while brisk walking. The place is open to public from 5AM to 7PM daily, the management allows people to do their jogging and walking inside the cemetery as long as you will not disturb those who are resting.

Rain Drenched Yellow Orange Flower

Got this flower photo on my first walk around the subdivision together with those posted two days ago. I saved this for today because I want to share this photo for specifically for Water World Wednesday hosted by Ate Kim.

This kind of flower is common here in our country. I think this belongs in the family of Strelitzia or birds of paradise because their leaves and how they grow look the same.

Flowers in the Morning

Yesterday, I went for a walk around the subdivision as a start of my self weight lost program. While walking I have noticed that there are many beautiful flowers blooming in the neighborhood, my hand had itched as usual and wanted to take some snaps (if only I brought my dslr with me). But even without my dslr, I still managed to take two shots using my Nokia N86 mobile phone.

Hmmm..Quite good results for an 8MP mobile phone, although I don't have an exact focus. Next time, I'll definitely bring with me my camera.

Petite and Delicate

I really want to have my own garden, with lots and lots of flowering plants. But at present I can't do that because we don't have our own house yet. For now, I settled on buying flowering plants in pots so that if the time comes that we have to move out, it's easier to take everything with us.

One of the most common flowering plant that I see on gardens these days are those with white petite and delicate flowers, like the picture below. As long as it is under the sun, it will never run out of flowers.

Now what! I can't even remember the name...I should ask again next time I'll do my plant shopping at Bulua Terminal.

Striking Orange Zinnia
