Artificial Waterfalls

I shot his artificial waterfalls at Apo View Hotel in Davao City. I was trying to make the water look misty but I don't have my tripod with me. This is the last setting that my hands can hold without shaking the camera.

The Fishing Village

These are fishing rods ready for anyone who wants to pretend to be a fisherman, taken at the fishing village at the Hijo Plantation.

I'm sure there are a lot of freshwater fishes in the village. I should have tried fishing next time.

And lastly, I took a close-up shot of the spinning reel of the fishing rods.

This part of Hijo Plantation in Tagum City is a perfect place to unwind and relax. A great escape from the busy and noisy city life.

Lovely Mums

"The beauty of life is not measures on how happy you are,
but on how you give happiness to others."

These lovely mums were taken using Canon 60D while they were seated on the dashboard on our way to the cemetery to visit my daughter's grave.

Just an Orange Sky

Just an Orange Sky in One Ordinary Day.

Here's an inspiration message from Mother Teresa about Life.

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
Mother Teresa

Have a Happy Weekend!

Meet Kung Fu Panda

Kung Fu Panda is one of my favorite action-comedy animated film, Po is such an adorable "big" creature who strives to be a kung fu master and luck and his fatty body made his dream come true. :)

During the world film showing, Mcdonalds featured Kung Fu Panda characters in their happy meal. I was able to complete the first collection and managed to get four (4) toys of the second collection. Among the characters of course, the adorable Po is my favorite. Here he is...

Po from Kung Fu Panda 1

Baby Po from Kung Fu Panda 2

Po also from Kung Fu Panda 2

I love to collect toys from Mcdonalds because they are beautifully made and are worth collecting.

Popping Red Flower

Pretty flowering plants at the Apo View Hotel garden. Sorry but I do not know her name. Can anyone tell me?

Float on the Gray Clouds

Passing by above the clouds while on board an aircraft makes you feel like floating. Those clouds are tempting, how I wish I can touch them, play on them. But those gray white cotton candies are for our eye only.

Although the clouds are gray, far from a distance Mr. Sun is trying to extend his rays for me to see and took a snap.

Tagum City: Lanikai Resort

Inside Hijo Plantation in Tagum City, Davao del Norte is the Lanikai Resort, the chosen venue of the quarterly coordination meeting with the generators.

"A vacation spot designed to be serene and exclusive". Indeed, the place indeed is peaceful and good for relaxation.

Although I wasn't able to explore the whole area because of limited time but at least I managed to take some photos after our meeting.

fresh air because of the surrounding large trees

long cemented pathway to the beach
I guess it's beautiful during high tide.

took this photo from the pathway

at the distance is the Hijo Port

 finally the refreshing swimming pool

If only we had an overnight stay here, I could have seen how the sunrise or the sunset had looked like in this part of the world. And also the place, the beach might look differently during high tide.
