Light + Golden Yellow Roses

I slacked for 1 week and had not updated this blog, my day job + family took most of my time, they are my priorities, so it's okay.

Anyway this week I planned to update my blog diligently eventhough, I have to fly to General Santos City tomorrow morning for a business trip. So to start my week, here are yellow roses that I photograped a while ago before bringing them to our little angel in her memorial home later.

I bought these roses at P5.00 each which is 3 times cheaper compared to the ones sold outside the memorial garden.

I got 4 stalks of light yellow roses that I seldom see + golden yellow roses to complete the arrangement.

Actually yellow roses are my favorite, I usually get them whenever I see them available.

The River

“What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn't want to go anywhere else.”

Pink Ground Orchid

Rather than in the air ground orchids grows in the soil and are also known as Terrestrial Orchids. There are a lot of species that were successfully grown today and this pink ground orchid is one of them.

This photo was taken at Bukidnon at my sister in-law's front yard. She actually gave me seedlings, I hope it will grow well here in CDO and will give us pretty blooms too soon.

The Real Kite

If only I am a bird I could have explored the world.

While the children were trying to fly the kites that my SIL had bought for them, a real kite, the Brahminy Kite soared above them.  These medium-sized bird of prey are quite abundant in the province of Bukidnon.

The World is Yours

“Do not let your fire go out,
spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite,
the not-yet, and the not-at-all.
Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach.
The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.”
~ Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged ~

Do not seek to bring things to pass
in accordance with your wishes,
but wish for them as they are,
and you will find them.

InstaPic: Fusion Bolt

One of the items in my wishlist is a tablet preferably a Samsung Tab, unfortunately my budget can't allow it. Then here comes other brands joining the tablet market, claiming high-end technical specifications almost the same as other popular brands but at a lower price.

Cherry Mobile had released the first ever Quadcore tablet from a local brand, the Fusion Bolt. At a tag price of P3,999.00 you will enjoy the following specs;

  • Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
  • 7-inch HD IPS Display, 1280×800 resolution, 216ppi
  • 1GHz quad-core Actions Semiconductor ATM7025 processor
  • Vivante GC1000+ GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage
  • expandable up to 32GB via microSD card
  • WiFi
  • 2-megapixel main camera
  • VGA front camera
  • microUSB v2.0
  • miniHDMI slot
  • Super HD 2160p video support
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • 4000mAh Li-Ion battery
The gadget was unavailable when we first searched for it two weeks ago. I left my mobile number in one of their stall here in the city and last week I got a message that two units were already available. Without second thought, hubby and I hurriedly went to Lim Ket Kai and purchased the white CM Fusion Bolt.

I'm not a hard core gamer nor hubby, all we needed is a tablet that is capable of playing children educational applications for our son to watch, an ebook reader and can play avi movies + read SRT files (for Korean series). I actually was able to play nonstop video for 4 hours before the battery had emptied.

Having this gadget at a price affordable for people like us who want to be techie-techie but with no budget, Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt is way too enjoyable and already satisfying for us.
