Red Bird of Paradise

Caesalpinia pulcherrima is a shrub that belongs in the pea family that usually grows up to 3 meter long. This flowering plant is also known as ponciana, red bird of paradise, peacock flower, etc. and is the national flower of the Caribbean island Barbados. 

 

Nobody can really tell the origin of this plant because it is widely cultivated across the globe. Here in the Philippines you can see these orange and yellow blooms just anywhere.

    Yes this is also a common plant here in pakistan. It is extremely heat tolerant plant here in my climate. Your shots are superb.
