A Visit at the Divine Mercy Shrine

On our way home from Cagayan de Oro City, Joel, Jessie, Nice and I decided to pass by and visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in Municipality of El Salvador. The 50 foot statue of Jesus Christ stands at the Ulaliman Hills overlooking the Macajalar Bay in Misamis Oriental, Philippines, it is the place of pilgrimage of the Divine Mercy devotees.

As a sacred site, visitors are not allowed wear to shorts or any skin revealing clothes. It so happened that we went there wearing shorts, so the guard gave as skirts and asked us to wear it while inside the shrine.

The site also is said to have healing water coming from a 280 feet deep well and just by drinking it can heal your soul.

  1. The only thing that can clean our souls is the living water of our Saviour Jesus Christ. two many christian believers hold on to Icons.
and build Icons. all in this world is his. we are just keepers of his world and should act as such.
