White Spiked Insect

I spotted this tiny insect with white spike on his back, measuring more or less 2-3mm crawling on one of the branches that I had picked for macro photography experiments. Isn't it an eerie beauty at super close up?

That's what I love about macro though we only used extension tubes because we can't afford to buy a super macro lens, I was able to capture and appreciate concealed details of tiny creatures.

Thanks to my husband for helping me out on this DIY macro photography. Our project is far from perfection because we still lack lights, the ring light that hubby had done is not enough to light up our subjects. :(
