After my trip to Iloilo on June 15, 2015, I
received an email regarding the newest reward program called GetGo where we get
points by choosing Cebu Pacific flights. Since, our work related travels
requires us to fly from our based office to other places, I might as well get
the card and see where the program will take me in the near future.
Becoming a member of GetGo is very easy. All
I did was fill-in the details required on the website and paid the registration
fee of P150 via credit card. After a week or two, my personalized GetGo
membership card was delivered right on my doorstep.
I waited for almost 2 months before I made
this post, as I need to check how it actually works. On July 29, 2015 I flew to
Davao via Cebu Pacific I wasn’t able to supply my GetGo membership number when
I booked the ticket. Instead, I have shown it to the Cebupac ground personnel
when I check-in and was told that it will take two weeks at most before my
points will be posted.
I patiently checked my account from time to
time for two weeks for my points show up in my profile but there was none
posted yet. So, I decided to use the “Missing Points” function in their website.
Filled-in the departure date, flight number and booking reference, then submit,
and after a few seconds my points were already posted. Cool! I got a total of
1264 points for my travel in Davao City on July 29-30,
2015.
Reading thru the FAQs, points from previous flights can still be claimed by submitting the details as well. I tried filling in the details of my Iloilo flights in June 15-18, 2015 and also a few seconds later the points were also posted. Yippee!
And my total points to date, is already 1864. Indeed, a very, very good start for more free flights in the future.
GetGo also teamed up with different
partners for us to gain more points faster. I am an RCBC Bankard credit card holder,
I wonder how I can convert my existing points into GetGo points. Hmmm.. I better call
the customer service soon.

That is an extremely smart written article. I will be sure to bookmark it and return to learn extra of your useful information. Thank you for the post. I will certainly return.
