Chicken Shawarma
The company I work at has future plan to transfer SO Mindanao Regional Office from
Just in case I’ll still be around by December this year after the individual evaluation of employee competence, I’ll be included on the number of employees to be relocated in Cagayan de Oro City. So just in case, my husband and I decided to purchase a piece of land in CDO and plan to settle there in the future.
October 17, 2009 Jes and I went for site viewings of the prospect lot in an exclusive newly develop subdivision near CDO airport together with Jen & his husband of Robinson’s Land. And at the end of the day we decided to procure the prospect piece of land, a corner lot on Fresno Parkview Homes. We paid for the reservation fee and will be paying the rest on 24-months amortization.
Maybe two years from now with God’s will and graces we can build our new home there and start another a new life in CDO. Crossfingers!

So as my first entry, here is a lady duck enjoying the fresh scent of the lake. This photo was taken near our home in Zamboanga City. I was familiarizing my camera then and luckily got this shot. I did some experiments on the picture and as a result a very charming monochrome, my first ever monochrome photo.

My fourth entry for Today’s Flower is just one of the species of the large genus Anthurium that belongs to the Arum family.
Anthurium is also called as “Flamingo Flower” or “Boy Flower” because of its structure. It grows in many forms it can be bushy or climbing epiphytes (epiphytes are plants that grow upon another plant or trees).
Anthuriums flowers are hermaphrodite, containing male and female flowers about 3mm small crowded in a spike called spandix the outer portion is called spathe a modified bract that is leathery in texture. Others have mistaken the “spathe” as the flower but it is not, the flowers are solely found on the “spandix”.

Stressed Out on Seminar Workshop
Today we are already on our 2nd day of the very tiring workshop. Everybody has to participate and extract brains to come up with a common goal, common standards. So that makes me so stressed out that I don't want to see and open my laptop to post something here. I wasn't able to do my drops for many days now, wasn't able to visit friends sites and post comments.
You may wonder why I had one post today, because I want a break on this nauseating activity and relieve my stress by visiting my site good thing that our seminar venue is wifi ready.
Sorry guys I'll make up to all of you as soon as this activity will be over I'll do my drops and visit your sites later.
Have A Nice Day!

Tattooed Face
Globe's temporary tattoos came with the purchase of new Globe Sim and it should be placed either on the face or arm. In our case we chose to place it on our face for much emphasis and "a preferably" for VIPs.
(That's the reward when you have a friend working with the sponsor, an enjoyment of a free VIP pass. LOL!)
As an evidence that we actually went to watch the show here's our tattooed face simply layouted on a 5x7 canvass with pictures taken after the concert @ one of the local coffee shop.

Today's Flower: Bougainvillea
January Zelene 6:48 AM Close Up Shots , Flower 101 , Nature Photography , Today's Flower 13 comments
My share today is a very spectacular Brazilian beauty flowering plant that is quite abundant around the world and popularly known as Bougainvillea.
Bougainvillea is said to have been discovered in 1768 in Brazil. It has thorny shrubby vines that grow from 1 – 12 meters tall. The blooms that we know are not true flowers but papery bracts that surround the cluster of three small white tubular flowers
Hope you like it! Enjoy!

Diyandi Festival 2009
January Zelene 7:52 PM Costumes , Diyandi Festival , People Photography , Simply Colorful 3 comments
The Kasadya contingents gathered from Iligan Port routing the main street of Iligan city proper, then halted on some areas were judges posted to have their performance and after which they proceeded to the Amphitheater Ground @ the Iligan City Hall where each contingent had their final "showdown".
The sky started to sprinkle rain at the midst of the street performance, I don’t have an umbrella with me so I had to cover myself and of course my camera (I can’t afford to have my gadget rain soaked LOL!) but still I managed to capture some snapshots so here are they and hope you’ll enjoy the colors and smiles of the participants.
