BPC 14/366 [ As If Wanted to Cry]

Another late post for BPC. I was told by BPC admin that only one entry is allowed per blogger (sorry for that, I wasn't able to read the guidelines) so I'll be posting my little prince photos here instead.

This photo was taken yesterday while Xye having his morning walk outside the apartment. He was actually making faces while I'm taking his photos from a distance using a 70-300mm lens.

Martes na usab, adlaw sa Hulagway sa Kinabuhi. Ang atong letra karon k ang leterang "E". Ug mao kini ako ma-share sa inyo mga higala E para sa Enhinyero. Ako gi-piktyuran ang ako kauban nga nag trabaho/nag reprogram sa mga communication cards. Isa sya ka Enhinyero sa Elektonics.

It's Tuesday, another day for Pictures of Life. Our photos to be share for today should start with letter E. And this is what I have for you, E for Engineer. I took a snap of my colleague who was re-programming some communication cards, he is an Electronic Engineer.

Ang Litratong Pinoy ay kasalukuyang nagdidiwang ng ikatatlong annibersaryo. Sa paggunita ng araw na ito wala pong binigay na pangunahing tema bagkos maari nating ibahagi kahit anong litrato na ating nanaisin at ito ang aking napili.

Kuha ko ito noong isang taon habang ginagawa pa ang gusali kung saan ako nag tratrabaho. Isa siyang magagawa na nag we-welding ng bakal na gagamitin bilang hagdan sa may fire exit.

 Litratong Pinoy or “Filipino Photos” is presently celebrating their 3^rd Anniversary. To commemorate this day, no required theme for today was given instead we can post whatever picture we like and I chose to share this photo. 

I took this photo last year during the construction of our office building. A welder while at work, connecting or welding pieces of metals to be used as a ladder at the fire exit.

Litratong Pinoy: Magustuhan (Like)

Magustuhan mo ba gumanap bilang isang demonyito sa isang pagtatanghal? And lahok ko para sa Litratong Pinoy sa araw na ito ay ang pagganap ng isang baklita bilang si Satanas na kalaban ni San Miguel Arkangel, isang pagsadula sa Street Dancing bilang pagpupugay sa Pista ng San Miguel noong Setyembre 29, 2009 sa Lungsod ng Iligan. Makikita sa mukha nya na kailangan ibigay ang kanyang pinakamagaling sa pagganap upang manalo sa patimpalak na ito. Hindi ko nga lang alam kung nanalo ba sila o hindi hehe.

Would you like to portray a devil role in a play? My entry for Filipino Photo for today is a role played by a gay as “Satan” enemy of St. Michael the Archangel in a Street Dancing to celebrate the feast of St. Michael the Archangel on September 29, 2009 at Iligan City. His facial expression shows how dedicated he was to play his role to the best he can to win the competition. Too bad I did not know if their group had won or not.

Diyandi Festival 2009

Diyandi Festival is an annual event of merry making and celebration to honor the City’s Patron Saint St. Michael Archangel. The feast falls every 29th of September, but each day of the whole month of September has lined up activities organized by the city government. One of the main event and most loved by Iliganons is the Kasadya Streetdancing and Merrymaking. Students from different schools, barangays and even from nearby towns came to join this yearly competition showcasing colorful costumes, props and graceful performance to vie for the P 200,000.00 cash prize for the over-all champion.

The Kasadya contingents gathered from Iligan Port routing the main street of Iligan city proper, then halted on some areas were judges posted to have their performance and after which they proceeded to the Amphitheater Ground @ the Iligan City Hall where each contingent had their final "showdown".

The sky started to sprinkle rain at the midst of the street performance, I don’t have an umbrella with me so I had to cover myself and of course my camera (I can’t afford to have my gadget rain soaked LOL!) but still I managed to capture some snapshots so here are they and hope you’ll enjoy the colors and smiles of the participants.
