Welcome 2015! New Year Sun

Goodbye 2014, Welcome 2015! 

Another challenging year has started and I together with our Lord God, my family and people around me, are ready to face it.

  

This year I am taking a Challenge, a 365 days Photo a Day Challenge that is also making waves in the bloggosphere. 

For the first day of 2015, I took a shot of the New Year Sun.

It was supposed to be a sunrise, but I was too late to capture it. Instead, I asked my husband to pull-over where these rice fields are along the highway on our way home after spending New Year's eve at his workplace and took this shot.

The photo was taken at 6:32AM January 1, 2015, Philippine Standard Time along the Municipality of Manticao, Misamis Oriental.

In the Ricefield

Early morning on March 18, 2013, Hubby and I went to the vast rice fields across my parents-in-law's house in Cabaglasan, Bukidnon. We're trying to catch a better view of the two trees at the corner of the rice fields to be used in the photography contest.  

We were successful to photographed the subject trees, but was not good enough for the judges of the contest. The finalists were up but ours was not included. too bad.. :( 

Anyway, we are waiting for another photography contest organized by the company we're working for and hope by that time we'll be able to join again and hopefully win. :)

Meanwhile, the photo above was taken using my mobile phone, hubby was walking in front of me. We've done our job and were on our way home.

Rice Field + Beautiful Blue Sky

This is my in-laws newly harvested rice field in Bukidnon, the remaining greenery still blends perfectly with the beautiful blue sky.

I'm so in love with this scene, the formation of clouds is telling us to live a carefree life.
