Sunrise and Sun Rays

Today I had to dig out photos from my archive because I've been a slacker lately and I wasn't able to go out and capture sky moments.

Here's a sunrise scene that I have took on my early days as a Canon DSLR user. A morning scene I had captured at my previous work place last year. I was on graveyard shift that time so I was able to catch the sun as it rises to spread his light upon us.

I've experimented for the right setting but I was not fortunate, I had an overexposed photo as a result. Anyways if the camera can't do the trick maybe photoshop can. So here's a good sample (I think) though I played around only on PS levels and curves and Viola! I had this one. Hope this is good enough.

This is my first entry on Sepia Scene Wednesday. Took a shot of a lampshade beside the bed were I have stayed in Cebu City last week.

Header Makeover

I had a header makeover, I composed it myself what do you think? Well, I'm not good at this but I'm trying.

I want to have a site makeover too, but I don't know how. Anybody wants to help me? I will surely appreciate it.

Above the Clouds

I posted for my SkyWatch Friday last week was a photo taken at the ground, today I'm sharing the Philippine Sky just above the clouds.

These photos were taken while on board PAL Express Q400 Aircraft for a 38-minute flight from Cebu City to Cagayan de Oro City on December 9, 2009.

I was ready to capture scenes below because the plane will be flying only around 10,000ft above sea level but the clouds were thick, so I took shots of the sky peeping in the thick clouds instead.
