Purple Cattleya

Saw this flowering orchid named Cattleya inside our landlord's fenced front yard. I can't go near her to snap her pretty face closer, hence I used a 70-300mm sigma lens to photograph her.

She's still pretty though her edges has started to wither.

The Cattleya is quite an amazing flower [I have a macro shot posted at my blog site that you might find interesting]. You did well under the circumstances to produce such a fine image!
