We're really excited how these babies will grow. Meanwhile our third papaya plant is already starting to give us blooming yellow flowers.
Baby Papaya Fruits + Papaya Flower
Can't get over with the papaya yet, I've been talking about them for the past weeks and I still can't believe that after I had posted the dismay we had thinking we're not be able to taste any fruit from these ladies that we had planted in our frontyard, now they actually are actually giving us hope.
Because after we saw little babies evolving from the flowers of the second papaya plant (photos above), a single baby fruit (photo below) also had appeared from our first papaya plant (finally).
We're really excited how these babies will grow. Meanwhile our third papaya plant is already starting to give us blooming yellow flowers.
The light yellow flower is a delicate beauty.
Wonderful photos! How lovely that you have your own Papaya Tree and I am happy to hear you will be able to eat its fruit soon. Thanks so much for sharing with Today's Flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou've watched this papaya development too majestically, i hope it will not easily succumb to virus, as that is a most prevalent truth with our papaya these days!

ReplyDeleteSuper!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I've never seen a papaya flower before.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that your papaya started to bear fruits now. One advice I can give you next time you planted papaya seeds.
ReplyDeleteYou need to remove the male seeds so you will not end up in dismay. How? Just take a closer look on the seeds. There are darker seeds among others. These are the male seeds and it will not bear any fruits. Female seeds are just brown. Hope this will help.
Nice job on those macro shots. We used to have a plant Papaye tree at our backyard. But I don't know if it's still there upto now. It's been 2 years since I left home :(
