Today I've converted a lovely sunset shot into a monochrome scene let us see how it looks like...
hmmm what do you think??
Paul Bowles:
... we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that's so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless.
It sounds crazy to convert a sunset to monochrome, but it's worked so well. It's a lovely shot, and the B&W has given it a kind of mystery.
ReplyDeleteWhat is a Monochrom?? Anyway..I love the picture. Its really nice and its neat with the sun beside the mountain.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young, all photos were B & W. Now people like them for their character. Do you take them in your camera or do you convert them in the computer?
ReplyDeleteI think your sunset is outstanding Jan. The quality of the light is magical. Thanks for visiting.
