Plumeria flower or locally known as calachuchi here in the Philippines are most fragrant at night to lure sphinx moth to pollinate them. The flowers have no nectar, and simply dupe their pollinators. The moths inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar.
Yellow Plumeria
Here's my share for Today's Flower a yellow plumeria that we've picked from St. Michael Cathedral after attending mass. Plumeria commonly known as Frangipani is a small genus of 7-8 species of shrubs that are native to tropical and subtropical countries. It is related to Oleander that posses poisonous milky sap just like the Euphorbia.

Kalachuchi is also locally known as "kanda" in our place. Easy to propagate and gives out a lot of beautiful blooms. Very nice capture.
