Is She a Ladybug?
I met this little fellow at my in-laws place in Bukidnon, with the surrounding rice fields and sugarcane fields you'll really get to see many insects around. And I happened to spot this tiny beetle while photographing weeds and flowers in the area.
I wonder if this is a ladybug? Accordingly ladybugs have spots on their backs, but thus that color black on this little fellow's back looks like a spot or a strip? What do you think?
It looks like a ladybug to me. You are right, though, it seems to almost have stripes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a Ladybug to me but one of the larger varieties.

ReplyDeleteIt is a very pretty little lady bug...or lady beetle as I called them as a child...and it is a very beautiful photograph. You can even see it's little feet, and are they aphids (his food?) on the stem?
