Originally built in 1602, the Church of San Pedro in Loboc is the second oldest church in Bohol soon after 1602 the church was burned to ashes. On 1638 a stronger structure was built. The church ceiling grace remarkable paintings, walls with magnificent carvings and a lot lot more surprises. Attached to the building is the three storey convent with the Museo de Loboc at the third floor that houses old statues of saints and other antique religious artifacts.

St. Peter Parish Church in Loboc is located about 24km away from the province capital Tagbilaran City. It is also known for its floating restaurants along the scenic and winding Loay-Loboc River.
This scenic old structure can be easily found on your way to Carmen, home of the famous Chocolate Hills.
