4 Tips for a Better Sleep
Are you getting better sleep? Nah… none lately for me. Maybe because I was too
stressed out during the day and when I reached home, instead of hitting the bed
with the kids, I had to do some family responsibilities first.
Work + family responsibilities + unexpected events are some
of the factors that interfere good night sleeps, though I cannot avoid them,
I’m pretty much convinced that I’ll do better with sleep with these 4 tips I’ve
read online. Here they are;
Establish a Sleeping Schedule
Just because it is a weekend or holiday doesn’t mean we can
wake up late. We had to stick to a sleep schedule. Go to bed at the same time
every night and wake up the same hour every day. That way
we’ll be able to synchronize your internal body clock.
Stay away from caffeine
As much as possible, we had to stay away from products
containing caffeine like coffee, tea, chocolate and cola at least 4 hours
before sleeping time. Because these are stimulants that will keep us awake.
Create a Pre-sleep Routine
If sleeping is too difficult to catch, we need to establish
some soothing activities before bedtime like taking a bath, reading a book,
watch television or do relaxing exercise.
Make Our Room into an Ideal Sleeping Venue
Bright lights will definitely make us stay awake. We should
make our room ideal for sleeping like making it cool, dark and quiet. To make
ourselves comfortable by using comfortable mattress and pillows. There are beddings
and pillows that are made for comfort, I think it will help.
The tips above had helped me cope up my sleeping problem, if
this won’t work for you, consult your doctor to find out the causes of yours.
I can say I have better sleeps now that we are limiting orders. Except that I have cough and colds now, hehe. We have dim light in our bed room and we make sure we are all in bed right after our favorite My Destiny. Haha...
ReplyDeleteI also do not have good sleep lately. I got so many things to do with so little time. This tips surely helps.
ReplyDeleteOh, I need sleep! I need a better bed and a better workplace. I cooped in my bed working since interior repainting in the house is not yet complete.
ReplyDeleteAgree to all of them except caffeine. It is porbably just me but I can sleep well after having a cup...:)
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a problem going to sleep but I do sleep late and wake up early. That's why I try to get some shuteye in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteBecause of my work schedule its hard for me to have better sleep. By the time I get home around 12 am, I'm still awake, even if I tried to sleep early I can't. Your right! create a pre-sleep routine def. help.:)
